Ayo is deeply committed to living life with intention and purpose. Over the years, this mindset has led her to take on various public, political, and voluntary roles.
She is currently a Trustee for the – Autistic Girl Network
She is currrently a Patron for the – Me2 Club
Ayo supported Living Painting by volunteering her time and voice for the audio description for the ‘Oscar and the Bird: A Book About Electricity’ picture book with braille pages and painted, raised tactile images.

Charity work and fundraising has always been a huge part of her life. Historically, She have been a part of a driven force social enterprise. She founded an annual charity event in 2015 to raise funds for Derriford Hospital’s Children’s Cancer Service (DCCS) and volunteered as their fundraising manager for some years.

She has also supported other charities, such as Sands, Rainbow Hospice, British Heart Foundation, RSPCA and Prospect Hospice, by running a half marathon, running several boot camps, organising fashion shows, partaking in social enterprise and singing in a harmony group and volunteering at the homeless shelter.



During her time as Deputy Mayor of Reading, she supported the Mayor Cllr Rachel Eden in her 5 ambitions for her term; Creating a sustainable Reading, Giving children the best start in life, Supporting those at the end of their life, Helping the community recover from the pandemic and Supporting Reading’s diverse community.
She also supported the Mayor’s chosen charities: Parenting Special Children, The Alliance for Cohesion and Racial Equality, The Sue Ryder, Duchess of Kent Hospice and many businesses and communities groups. Some of which are listed below:
– She attended Saint Laurence church for the installation of Revd Chris Jones
– She joined the Mayor to celebrate 50 years of the No5 Young People, a charity who provide free mental health support for young people in Reading
– She welcomed delegates to Reading for the Association for the Preservation of Roman Mosaics (ASPROM) – Winter Symposium
– She joined Reading Eagles FC – a football club using football to foster community cohesion for their 3rd annual event.
– She visited the Parenting Special Children Whitley Community Support Group as they received a grant by the John Sykes Foundation
– She joined Parenting Special Children alongside the Mayor to celebrate 15 years of the charity with special guest, Countess of Wessex
– She joined the Dingley’s Promise – a charity that delivers support to under 5’s with special educational needs and disabilities for their fundraiser
– She joined the Cowshed – a charity that support peopl in their time of personal crisis for the opening of their new location where she met those who had being personally helped by the charity
– She joined Queen Anne School as they hosted a Reframe Pain conference with Royal Berkshire Clinical leader of Pain Medicine where she got to present the prizes to the winners of the challenge.
– She spoke at the ‘Artists for Ukraine’ fundraiser, an event put together by local artist to raise funds for Ukraine
– She attended the screening of the Untold Oxford Road Chronicles documentary a project sponsored by Reading Council and HAZ to tell the diverse tales of those living, working and growing up on Oxford Road.
