Just finished watching Get Set Galatic. Very well-constructed fun, educational programme for kids. The role fitted your naturally exhuberant personality really well. You interacted well with the kids and your enjoyment of the programme was infectious.

Last night’s lecture on Bazalgette’s London Sewerage System, which not only was interesting, but was given by one of the most mesmeric speakers we have ever had.  As the speaker was billed as a Civil Engineer, we thought we would be faced with a competent, if rather unexciting middle aged man from the Sewage works.  What we got was a young woman, totally on top of her subject, who spoke very well and surely captivated everyone with her smile, which we thought could light up any lecture theatre, or The London Sewers.  What a role model!

On the International Day of Women and Girls in STEM, Ayo sat on the We Rise Initiative’s first clubhouse panel on ‘Feminine Traits fitting into Women in STEM’. She was a wealth of knowledge and provided a great insight into her multifaceted career in STEM and politics. She inspired both younger and older women to break glass ceilings and pursue their dreams regardless of opinions, a truly phenomenal speaker.
